I’m new to pilates, what classes should I start with?

We recommend you start with fundamental reformer and mat. Both these classes will teach you the foundations of pilates.
Alternatively, book a private session to allow yourself the time to learn the essentials before moving into group classes.

What do I need to bring with me?

A water bottle and grip socks. If you do not have grip socks, we have TSDS grip socks for sale at the studio for $15.  Grip socks are both for your safety and also for hygiene reasons. You are welcome to bring a towel.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.

What do I do before my first class?

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class so you can meet your instructor. This will give you a chance to discuss any specific requirements or injuries and the instructor will give you a tour of the studio.

What do I do when I arrive at the studio for my class?

Please wait in the reception area, your instructor will greet you and sign you in on the ipad. Take your shoes off and leave in reception, along with any other personal belongings. Please turn off phones/put on silent whilst in the studio. For your class you will just need your grip socks, water and optional towel.

You must be at least 18 years of age to attend classes at the studio.

The class I want to attend is full, what do I do?

We have a waitlist system when classes are full. You can add yourself to the waitlist through MindBody. You will be notified via automated email and/or text message up to 60 minutes before the class start time if you have been added to the class from the waitlist. You will be given the option to accept the waitlist place in the email/text.  Please respond immediately with your response.  Failure to respond will result in the system assuming you will be attending the class.

If you change your mind and no longer wish to be on the waitlist, you can remove yourself from the waitlist. Please do so asap.
